Website security: audit, scan and harden your site.

Elcara audits business websites, scans them for known vulnerabilities and fixes what it finds. You get a plain report and a safer site.

What you get

How an audit runs

  1. Scope in writing

You confirm in writing which sites and systems we may check.

  2. Audit and scan

We review the settings and run the scans at a time we agree with you.

  3. Fix

We fix the issues with your approval, the highest risk first.

  4. Check again

We scan again to confirm each fix, then hand you the report.

Questions

What is a website security audit?

A website security audit is a review of how your site is hosted, built and run, to find the weak points an attacker could use. It ends with a list of fixes in order of risk.

What is the difference between a vulnerability scan and a penetration test?

A vulnerability scan checks your site for known weaknesses with automated tools. A penetration test is a person trying to break in. We do scans, audits and fixes, not penetration tests.

Is a scan safe for a live site?

We set the scans to read only where the tools allow it and run them at a time we agree with you. We tell you first about any check that sends data to the site.

Which websites do you check?

WordPress, Shopify, static sites and custom builds.

How do you price a website security audit?

We send a quote after a 30-minute call. The price depends on the number of sites and what runs on them.
